Now I know. Now I know what the world looks like after the flowers have bloomed and the animals have emerged, setting the stage for this season of growth. I imagine what it feels like to be them, hopeful and curious, eager to make an appearance, eager to explore. Each discovery sparks a light within, adding another star to the sky, some brighter, bigger, smaller, dimmer, and not a one insignificant. Every learning is a piece of the fabric that holds us when we fall, warms us when we’re chilled, and teaches us everything we need to know about the world and our roles as compassionate creatures.
