Cassidy Stephens is a fine art photographer from Tubac, Arizona, whose work focuses on the bold colors and dramatic light of the American Southwest. Her photography, particularly the series Storms of the Sonoran Desert, captures the fleeting beauty of lightning and atmospheric phenomena, offering viewers a contemporary take on the natural world.
Stephens studied fine art and photography at Southwestern College and San Diego State University, further refining her skills through mentorships with established photographers. With over three decades of experience across various photography disciplines, she now dedicates her practice to fine art, using high-resolution digital tools to capture and process striking images of Southern Arizona’s monsoon storms.
Her work has been recognized with numerous awards, including a Best of Show in a California painting competition and accolades at the San Diego County Fair.
