In New Mexico we’re so lucky to see thousands of celestial points of light in our dark night skies. SPRING SKY is my abstraction of the skyward view from our backyard in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains. Here I can watch a dizzying number of stars on a crisp spring night. The sculpture is created from 8 hand-cut layers of archival paper in a wood frame with grooved matte and museum glass.
