Artist: William Freer
Title: Out the Window
Medium: Steel
Dimensions: 48"h x 24"w
I abstracted this scene through the window of my studio. The first layer of the steel sculpture represents four window panes, followed by a sky filled with symbols of my own design for sun, wind, clouds and rain expressed in a warm southwestern motif. The interplay of light and shadow brings drama to the monochromatic, powder coated work.
