ABOUT PATRICIA BALDWIN SEGGEBRUCH
Artist, author and international instructor Patricia Baldwin Seggebruch is known world wide for her impact in the medium of encaustic through her dynamic teaching, far-reaching inspiration and four books published in the techniques and materials that have made this medium so popular.
Not as widely recognized is the depth and breadth of work she has put out into galleries, corporations and homes throughout the world, as well as numerous awards and commendations she’s received for not only her impact in the medium but creation of art itself.
Patricia has been nominated yearly since its beginning for several categories of the prestigious encaustic La Vendeenne award, awarded best of show in Australia-a $5000AU award, and awarded time and again in juried shows dating back to her roots in mixed media, 2004. Patricia's work can be found in collections throughout the world; not the least of which are Safeco Corporation, Seattle, WestPac, Sydney, NewSouthWales, City of Albany, Western Australia and St Joseph's Hospital, Lexington, KY.
Patricia and her husband John now live in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. She divides her time between her three home studios, restoring their 1880 Victorian castle, and sharing this gem with guests and friends from near and far.
