Mikki Senkarik, an accomplished artist based in San Antonio, Texas, has made a significant impact in the art world with her vibrant oil paintings, often characterized as "Magical Impressionism." Encouraged by her mother from a young age, Mikki pursued her passion for art, earning a Fine Art Degree from the University of South Florida. Her artistic journey took a professional turn when she was accepted into the prestigious Masters' Program in Medical Illustration at the Medical College of Georgia. As a medical illustrator, Mikki's detailed pen and ink illustrations were featured in 47 major medical textbooks, and she was honored with the Association of Medical Illustrators' Award of Excellence.

Despite her professional success, Mikki faced personal challenges until a pivotal encounter in 1990 with Jack White, a respected oil painter, altered her life's path. Jack became her mentor, art teacher, and life partner, helping her transition from a tumultuous past into a world of expressive oil painting. Under his guidance, Mikki embraced the vibrant landscapes and gardens of the Southwest, Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Tuscany, infusing her work with bold colors and dynamic compositions that reflect a palpable zest for life.

Mikki's paintings, described by an early collector as "BILLBOARDS OF HAPPINESS," are filled with exuberant flowers and landscapes that offer viewers a joyful escape. Her passion for gardening deeply influences her work, with each canvas capturing the beauty and vitality of nature. Her artistic achievements have been showcased in multiple solo exhibitions at esteemed galleries, including the Santa Fe Art Collector Gallery in Santa Fe, Generations Gallery in Napa Valley, and Pitzer's Fine Arts in Carmel and Wimberley, Texas.
