Presently, she is fortunate to call Cochise County in Southern Arizona her home. This unique landscape, rich with Southwestern wildlife, serves as a constant source of inspiration. It is an environment that fuels her creativity and drives her to explore the interplay between the natural world and her artistic expression. This connection to her environment is a vital component of her artistic process, allowing her to channel the spirit of these subjects into her work.
As an artist, she is not constrained by a single medium. She works in watercolor, oil, acrylic, and mixed media, allowing herself the freedom to explore and experiment. This versatility enables her to push the boundaries of traditional portrayal and to create pieces that are uniquely vibrant and evocative. In her paintings, she offers viewers a fresh perspective on familiar creatures, through the use of bold colors and abstract elements. It is this blend of realism and abstraction that makes her work distinctive.
