Jarod Farver
About Jarod Farver
Jarod Farver was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas and spent much of his childhood free time exploring outdoors. Jarod’s inclination towards art was evident from an early age. Influenced by his surroundings in nature, Farver began painting landscapes at just eight years old, and this began his journey of learning a variety of oil painting techniques. This early experience solidified his commitment to art, setting him on a path of continuous exploration and growth.
After graduating high school in 2004, Jarod began working with his first gallery, and his painting style began to transform from representational landscapes to abstract works. Through experience and travel, Farver’s work matured over the years, reflecting his personal journey and his evolving creative taste. Farver has since branched out from oil painting, and he now utilizes acrylic paint and epoxy resin to create his work. His mixed media on wood panel pieces beautifully marry his love for nature and structured design. His current collection, inspired by Rothko’s work, expresses his artistic sensibilities through mediums of color. These paintings have multiple layers of mixed media and paint, creating texture and weight.
Through it all, Farver remains grounded, viewing himself at the beginning of a long and promising artistic journey. To Jarod, art is everything. He doesn’t believe that he chose an art career. Instead, art chose him. He has been actively painting, working with numerous galleries, and currently resides in Arizona with his family.
