"The treasure ~ and curse ~ of Time. It's such a love-hate relationship. We hold the past so close to our hearts, yet feel the need to protect ourselves from an unknown future. Growing up, our Summer vacations to the Atlantic Coast provided daily opportunities for treasure hunting. I would walk the shore in search of color, coil, translucence, and iridescence, and could only hope that maybe, one day, I would discover that long lost message in a bottle I'd only know from fiction. "Time Capsule" is a surreal and evocative digital composition. It features a large hourglass on a seascape. The top half of the hourglass contains sand that has partially run into the lower half. Within the lower half of the hourglass, a woman with red hair is wearing a blue dress. The background scene is a hazy beachscape with gentle waves lapping at the shore and a few birds flying in the distance, enhancing the ethereal and dreamlike quality of the image. The overall atmosphere is wistful and poignant.
