The treasure ~ and curse ~ of Time. It's such a love-hate relationship. We hold the past so close to our hearts, yet feel the need to protect ourselves from an unknown future. Growing up, our Summer vacations to the Atlantic Coast provided daily opportunities for treasure hunting. I would walk the shore in search of color, coil, translucence, and iridescence, and could only hope that maybe, one day, I would discover that long lost message in a bottle I'd only know from fiction. I can only wonder what it might have said...
