"The Greatest Show on Earth" features a surreal and whimsical assembly of various animals in a staged setting, reminiscent of a theatrical production. Central to the composition is a black goat standing on a wooden stump. Atop the goat, a row of small birds and a quirrel, are perched neatly on its back, creating an odd sense of harmony. Above this central arrangement, a colorful parrot is perched on a horizontal branch, sharing its roost with a small white bird to its left. Peering over the goat from behind is an ostrich, with a curious and alert gaze, adding to the sense of eccentricity. To the left of the goat is a black horse gazing towards the viewer, and an owl, sitting on the ground near the wooden stump, turns its head. On the right of the central goat, there is a large cat with distinctive spotted fur. In the background, amidst a field of pink flowers and green grass, several birds are taking flight, and an animal can be seen grazing in the distance under a moody sky.
