"You are loved. So many people forget this. I forget it sometimes. Yesterday morning, as I contemplated this image, that is what the art seemed to say, in a somewhat indirect way: a cry for help, it speaks both to those who are spiraling, and to those who are ready to soften the landing. Unfortunately, however, there is often a feeling of embarrassment or failure when we find ourselves falling. But it is not shameful to need help, nor is it to ask for it. Hours later, just before sunset, I heard an unfamiliar cry from the woods. I squatted down and a spoke softly to an invisible rustling in the brush. A two-week old fawn came peeking around the corner of the old garage. Its mommy had not returned, for whatever reason. My husband and I brought it to a local volunteer who temporarily takes in orphaned wildlife before releasing them back to the wild. It's ok to fall, to feel lost, to cry out. Aren't we all just learning as we go? You are loved, and you are deserving. People want to help. The Universe wants to help. There is a bigger picture, one which embraces compassion and hope and abundance, for all who can summon the courage to receive it." Elisabeth Ladwig
