"Inspiration is everywhere ~ just look. Right now, for example, I am sitting at my desk, and in my immediate view is a back-up drive. It's a commonplace object, but that doesn't mean it can't provide inspiration. It could signify setting aside the old to make room for the new, holding on to things that we want to keep safe ~ or that we're afraid to release. To my left, a handwritten list is taped to the wall. It may hold goals or tasks, steps to solve a problem... or maybe clues to buried treasure! On my right sits an eraser. Just an eraser ~ a metaphor for creating a blank slate, erasing a bad habit, or banishing chaos. It is truly amazing what inspiration can be found in some of the most unlikely places." "Catching the Light" depicts a surreal scene featuring a woman standing in a barren landscape under an overcast sky. She is dressed in a flowing blue dress, which drapes elegantly to the ground, with a trail pooling around her feet. Her physique is graceful, and her black hair is long and wavy, cascading down her back. In the woman's hands, she holds a fishing rod, and a subtle glow originates from the point where her line is cast. In the distance, there's a simple, isolated house on the left side, small and unassuming in the expanse. The ground shows arid earth with muted brown tones, and the atmosphere conveys a feeling of solitude and quiet power. The overall effect is ethereal and provokes contemplation on the relationship between the woman and the natural world around her.
